InstantFX SE Media Player Maker is a tool that creates custom Media Players that can be used to deliver streaming media online, can be bundled in Windows Executables for offline playing or used as standalone players. The application can be integrated into MS Office applications such as FrontPage, Expression, or PowerPoint.
This program's graphic interface consists of four areas. A main Menu Bar is displayed for importing, exporting and creating playlists and libraries; and underneath there is a Settings and Properties menu that contains player playlists, settings for player skins, colors etc., a Templates section and an Encoder section. The Preview/Editor area displays the current player, depending on selections made in Settings and Properties.
To create a player, I selected a template for Video and Audio from the Templates menu, and then added my FLV file by clicking the Media option. This opened a sub-window that allows you to add a caption, artist, and any online links if required. Next, I selected the tints and color feature to change the look of my player's template. Clicking on the preview button on the top menu bar prompted the program's preview window to activate where I reviewed my player. Once a player is approved, simply clicking on the 'Create FXI' button in the menu bar will activate the program to package your template and format your player ready for distribution. This excellent program allows you to output your file to web pages, in executable format, and even turn them into screen savers.
